Wild Hog Fest 2021

Phill-Up the Pig Turns 43

Three streamed concerts, Saturday, November 20, 2021

Yep, our mascot, Phill-up the Pig, turns 43 years old this month and is celebrating with Wild Hog Fest, a virtual festival of concerts! Tune in this Saturday to our Virtual Concerts page from the comfort of your lazy boy as the Wild Hog proudly presents an afternoon and evening of recently recorded and livestream music. Each act will be followed by a chat with the performers via Zoom. Join us in celebration of the oldest folk music venue in Madison, established 1978.

February Sky - a duo from the Upper Peninsula. Celtic guitarist and traditional singer Phil Cooper and singer-songwriter Susan Urban harmonize their voices and intricately weave their instrumentation in traditional and original songs. More info at www.februarysky.com

Casey Day - Madison's fine singer-songwriter has a fine voice and is an accomplished guitarist. More info at dayxday.org/music

Leafy Greens- Madison duo Ben Doran and Lisa Johnson Lisa sings beautifully and plays guitar, including some fine finger-picking. Ben is an accomplished hammered dulcimer player and sings harmonies as well. More info at www.leafygreensmusic.com

Oh, and bring your own pizza and cake. Hopefully next year's party will be back in our venue, face to face and with real cake.
